The IBM System Storage Proven program builds on IBM's already extensive interoperability efforts to develop and deliver products and solutions that work together with third party products.
With support for the IBM System Storage N Series, Tek-Tools adds to its already comprehensive list of storage and backup tools including modules for NetApp, HP, HDS, Symantec, EMC, and more. Tek-Tools StorageProfiler provides SRM capabilities encompassing IBM's SAN, NAS, and data protection systems, helping to lower costs and alleviate the difficulty of integrated storage management across heterogeneous environments, while also accelerating problem diagnosis and resolution. From any supported Web browser, both operators and administrators can trend volumes and qtrees; view version, cluster, disk, and quota configuration; and monitor performance statistics. Other advanced features include change reporting, file analysis for CIFS or NFS enabled storage systems, and virtual storage systems, as well as policy-based file detection, movement, and deletion.
