TCBY and Silk® are proud to announce a winner in the “You + Beach = The Perfect Match” sweepstakes! The winner is 26-year-old Amanda Zinn of Boston. The win comes during an exciting 2013 for Amanda which has included an engagement.

The “You + Beach = The Perfect Match" sweepstakes was part of “The Perfect Match” campaign on social media launched in conjunction with the introduction of TCBY’s Silk Chocolate Almond non-dairy frozen yogurt on August 8th. TCBY and Silk fans were encouraged to enter for the chance to win a Caribbean getaway for two. Zinn discovered the “You + Beach = The Perfect Match” sweepstakes while reading a blog post on the Carrots ‘N’ Cake website, a blog dedicated to fitness and healthy living.

Zinn plans to share the Caribbean getaway with her fiancé, Steve Boyd, whom she got engaged to in February and plans to marry in May of 2014. Zinn says they’re hoping to go on the trip as a celebration of their engagement. Since learning of her win, she says friends and family have been lobbying to join her on the getaway. Even Zinn’s soon-to-be mother-in-law has thrown her hat in the ring.
“All of my friends were telling me that they wanted to go and have been making a case to go on the trip instead of Steve,” said Zinn. “When I told him about winning, his first words were, ‘Nice job,’ then he immediately put in his vote for which island he wanted to visit.”
Zinn says she’s leaning toward St. Lucia but Steve is lobbying for Aruba or one of the Virgin Islands.
