I want to give them the true biblical facts before every person makes the most important decision of their life telling God where they want Him to send them after they die.

T. M. Harris sets out to compare and contrast heaven and hell and gives readers an idea of what to expect in the afterlife in his new book, “Where’s the Escape Hatch? Help Me!!! I Think I’m in Hell: Bernie’s Personal Tours of Heaven and Hell” (published by WestBow Press).

“Every person is going to die but the vast number of people do not know what to expect in the afterlife,” Harris says. “I want to give them the true biblical facts before every person makes the most important decision of their life telling God where they want Him to send them after they die.”

Using a fictional character named Bernie, Harris sends readers on an emotional rollercoaster. Bernie agrees to take a tour of both heaven and hell, although he doesn’t believe that either place exists. After comparing the two, Bernie makes his decision about where he wants to spend eternity, and Harris asks readers to contemplate where they would rather spend the afterlife.

“I purposely engage my readers by asking them numerous questions of what they think, how they would feel if they were sent to heaven or hell, and what they personally can tolerate for trillions of years,” Harris writes. “Also, I ask them questions regarding the Scriptures that I put into the book.”
