Taiwan Visitors Association (www.tva.org.tw), the event organizer, is pleased that exhibition space is fully booked, as travel industry operators from around the world vie for a piece of the growing Taiwanese travel and tourism market. The World Trade Organization (WTO) estimates that tourism in the Asia-Pacific region will increase by 4% next year. For an admission fee of $200NT (approximately $6USD), the public can access world class travel information from all corners of the globe.

In addition to traditional trade booths presenting travel products and packages, Taipei ITF visitors can expect to see featured presentations and performances on the central stage in the main hall. Travel bureaus from various countries will proudly showcase their local music, dance, culture and art to entice would-be travelers planning their next vacation. There is also a travel seminar (presented in Chinese) on December 17, on two topics: "Leisure Farming and Tourism" and "Present State and Future Development of Cruise Ship Tours in Asia."
