“We are excited to expand our partnership with TechSoup Global, a leading nonprofit that empowers other nonprofits with technology,” said Jay Love, chief executive officer of eTapestry, a Blackbaud company that has been a TechSoup Global partner since 2001. “By donating MatchFinder through TechSoup to nonprofits using BlackbaudNow, we are offering them the tools they need to maximize their donations.”

Recently launched in partnership with PayPal, a leading global online payment service, BlackbaudNow is an affordable solution to help new and growing nonprofits reach their fundraising goals. BlackbaudNow offers nonprofits a point-and-click website builder with secure donation processing and the ability to send emails and record donors’ giving histories. Nonprofits do not pay any setup or monthly fees for BlackbaudNow, but instead, pay fees on a per-transaction basis.

Through TechSoup Global’s TechSoup Stock product donation program, nonprofits ordering BlackbaudNow will also receive MatchFinder, Blackbaud’s matching gift data service. MatchFinder® helps nonprofits by scanning their databases and matching donors against more than 25,000 corporate matching gift programs.

“At TechSoup Global, our work is focused on bringing essential technology tools and knowledge to the nonprofits and libraries around the world,” said Roger Abraham, vice president of products at TechSoup Global. “Through the generosity of donating companies like Blackbaud, we are able to remove price as a barrier to technology adoption by the social sector. Blackbaud’s donation expands our offerings around fundraising, which is essential in tough economic times like these.”

Additionally, nonprofits that sign up for BlackbaudNow by June 30, 2009 will be automatically entered in the BlackbaudNow Donation Sweepstakes. The first place contest winner will receive a matching donation of up to $2,500 and 20 additional nonprofits will receive matching donations of up to $500.

Nonprofits can visit www.techsoup.org to sign up for BlackbaudNow and receive access to MatchFinder. They will also have access to a nonprofit community with the information, knowledge, and resources to ensure their success.
