Tekscan, Inc. announces its plan to join FujiFilm at the upcoming Performance Racing Industry tradeshow in Orlando, FL to showcase the two companies’ thin-film pressure and force measurement products. From December 10-12, Tekscan will join FujiFilm at Booth #1307 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL to educate potential customers regarding the companies’ pressure measurement technologies and how the automotive industry, particularly the performance racing market, benefits from thin-film pressure measurement sensors and systems.

This joint effort appropriately marks the end of an especially exciting and diverse tradeshow year for Tekscan. At the MDM East tradeshow in New York City in June, Machine Design editor Lee Teschler interviewed Tekscan sales engineer Mike Roberts to learn more about thin and flexible force and pressure measurement technology. That interview can be viewed here. In October, Tekscan was voted Best of MDM Minneapolis by Bestoftradeshow.com. Tekscan was selected as a dynamic company that is poised for continued future growth. As Tekscan’s President, Steve Jacobs explained upon receiving the award,

"We are fortunate as a company to have been able to dedicate significant resources and money to invest in ourselves through expanded production and R&D capabilities. We have recently undergone an extensive renovation and remodel in our company-owned facility. This included installation of additional state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to increase our yields and control costs."

Tekscan, manufacturer of thin-film force and pressure sensors and dynamic pressure mapping systems, added FujiFilm’s Prescale Pressure Indicating Film to its product line in 2007 to allow its customers even more options in pressure mapping solutions. Automotive R&D, test and measurement, and automotive OEM applications for FujiFilm and Tekscan technology include ideal seat design, tire pressure mapping, engine gasket pressure measurement, ergonomic instrument design, foot and brake pedal force measurement, and more. High-temp force sensors(up to 400°F) make Tekscan’s matrix and single point force and pressure sensor products even more versatile and robust, attributes that are especially appealing to the performance racing circuit.

Tekscan offers a number of off-the-shelf and custom solutions. Contact Tekscan today to learn more.
