TelcoBridges' Network Monitoring Capabilities Help Solutions Developers Incorporate Security Applications & Location Based Services Into Their Offerings

TelcoBridges Promotes Tmonitor TM1000 Real Time, High-Density; Network Monitoring Solution at Mobile World Congress

Barcelona, Spain (Vocus/PRWEB ) February 16, 2009 -- Mobile World Congress: TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced that it is showcasing its Tmonitor™ TM1000™ real time monitoring solution at the Mobile World Congress. The TM1000 detects, filters, captures and records all signaling and voice traffic crossing T1/E1 links. It provides solutions developers with all the raw data they need to develop next-generation security and LBS applications.

When used to monitor a mobile network, the Tmonitor TM1000 can capture the signaling information for both the calling and called numbers. It provides handset identification information, cell identification, as well as received signal strengths from neighboring BTSes and sectors. Operators use TelcoBridges’ monitoring capabilities for mobile network optimization, CDR generation and verification, fraud detection, location-based billing, local-search services, and to notify their subscribers of roaming via SMS.

The TM1000 is specifically designed to monitor, filter, record and analyze traffic on any network, whether mobile or fixed. Operating at line rate on up to 64 T1/E1/J1 full-duplex links, all filters are highly customizable. Unlike a network probe, the Tmonitor TM1000 uses non-intrusive devices to connect to the T1/E1/J1 links, and does not affect the performance of the network or the status of a call, or introduce unwanted data artifacts. Leveraging TelcoBridges’ power-efficient architecture, the Tmonitor TM1000 requires less than 50 watts of power, which is significantly less than any other network monitoring solution on the market.

TelcoBridges[ monitoring technology is highly customizable. Because not every signaling message is relevant, the Tmonitor TM1000 features on-board packet filters, which search traffic streams to identify data – specified by the solution developer - that need to be captured. The Tmonitor TM1000 performs the data capture and provides the data flow to an application server, which implements additional services. This high volume monitoring system can scale beyond single system application platforms, and it can be deployed both locally and remotely.

“As Location-Based Services and security applications become pervasive on a global basis, our customers are asking for non-intrusive, real-time network monitoring solutions that can monitor traffic across any network,” states Gaetan Campeau, president and CEO of TelcoBridges. “With up to 64 full-duplex T1/E1/J1 in a compact 1U form factor, the TM1000 can scale locally and remotely, to address network monitoring needs in any environment.”

To see the TM1000, and to learn more about how it is currently being deployed in various environments, visit TelcoBridges at the Mobile World Congress, in Stand # 2.1C58, in Hall 2.
