Weekly posts cover a range of topics from luxury family travel to wedding planning and include information and insider travel tips for The OCeanfront's four elite beach communities -- Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and Dana Point.

"We recently joined Facebook and Twitter to begin listening and communicating with travelers and travel writers on a one-on-one basis," says OCeanfront Chairwoman, Sue O'Shea. "With the launch of The OCeanfront Blog, we hope to deepen that conversation by offering more information, links and multimedia content to help people experience our destination virtually before deciding to visit."

With the goal of providing helpful planning information to travelers and Orange County residents, as well as news and story ideas for travel writers, posts to The OCeanfront Blog include:

•     Beach Resort Weddings with tips on where to find to-die-for cakes, news about The Resort at Pelican Hill's "wedding butler" service, and video footage of The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort's wedding and reception locations; options for smaller, intimate weddings are also covered.
•     Kid-Friendly Beach Vacations, introducing Paintbox, the children-only club at Montage Laguna Beach, as well as Camp Pelican at The Resort at Pelican Hill and Slyders Water Playground at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, which features three waterslides and other poolside fun for young guests.
