Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) April 11, 2012
Jonathan Wilbur is the newest addition to the Schneider, Smeltz, Ranney & LaFond (SSRL) team, a Cleveland based civil practice law firm. He will be Of Counsel to the firm where he will primarily work with health care, nonprofit and privately-held organizations.
Wilbur’s legal career began in Northeast Ohio when he was named an Associate in the Products Liability department at a local law firm. During his tenure as an Associate, he had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including those in the healthcare industry. When he was asked to serve as President of a large medical practice in Springfield, Virginia, Wilbur decided that he needed to explore the healthcare field more closely. While working at the clinic, he gained additional real world experience in the operations of a health care business and was then recruited to serve as General Counsel for a local medical and psychiatric clinic.
Wilbur comments on his return to private practice, “The most rewarding aspect of practicing law is the personal rapport that I develop with clients and seeing the positive impact that my work has on their lives.” He is committed to SSRL’s tradition of upholding the highest professional standards and to making client service a priority by being a responsive and thoughtful counselor and advocate to those he serves.
Wilbur earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1997. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. When he is not practicing law, Wilbur is active with Legal Aid’s “Save the Dream” program, in his synagogue, as well as his children’s’ school. He currently resides in the Cleveland suburb of Beachwood, Ohio with his family. Wilbur enjoys staying busy with his five children, woodworking, and finding a good read.
