Three TrialStat Executives to Speak at the Society for Clinical Data Managers Conference in Chicago
Building on its growing reputation as a thought leader in the electronic data capture (EDC) market, TrialStat Corporation today announced that three executives will speak at the 2007 Society for Clinical Data Managers (SCDM) Conference in Chicago, which will occur from September 16-19.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 11, 2007 -- Building on its growing reputation as a thought leader in the electronic data capture (EDC) market, TrialStat Corporation today announced that three executives will speak at the 2007 Society for Clinical Data Managers (SCDM) Conference in Chicago, which will occur from September 16-19. SCDM is a non-profit professional society founded to advance the discipline of clinical data management. The conference takes place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago.
Khaled El Emam, TrialStats Chief Scientist, is spearheading SCDMs CDSIC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) taskforce with the goal of examining practical guidelines for adopting this data standard for submissions to the FDA. CDISC is a not-for-profit organization advocating platform-independent and common data standards that allow for the sharing of information to improve medical research and related areas of healthcare.
Peter OBlenis, Vice President Product Marketing, will review clinical data security issues and best practices, including browser-side encryption. John Simpson, Director Product Strategy, will examine the benefits of EDC for Phase IV studies.
