New York, NY (Vocus/PRWEB ) April 28, 2009 -- Unison Technologies, a leader in unified communications software for business, today announced the launch of its Unison Business Technology Advancement Program for New York metropolitan area organizations. The 'unified communications' system includes all server and desktop software, a server (or hosting service) plus a desktop telephone for each user. The program will save recipients many thousands of dollars in hardware, software, maintenance and deployment costs while cutting telephone bills by around 60 percent.

"Until recently, only large enterprises could afford unified communications. Now, with Unison, small and medium businesses can also deploy a unified system for e-mail, telephony, voicemail and more, at the same time as lowering their IT and telephony costs," said Rurik Bradbury, Chief Marketing Officer, Unison.

"The Unison Business Technology Advancement Program takes this one step further, with deployment and maintenance at no charge. Companies within the program will significantly improve the way staff communicate, as well as reduce their operating costs."

The ten enterprises awarded the Advancement Program will receive:

  • Unison Server™ unified communications server software
  • Unison Desktop™ software for each computer
  • Server and networking hardware for onsite use or hosted server
  • A desktop phone for each user in the company
  • Unison support services including deployment, maintenance and software upgrades
The deadline for applications is May 22nd, 2009 at 10pm EST. Applications for the program are invited through Unison's website at http://ubtap.unison.com. Any New York based business or organization sized between ten and fifty employees can apply to join the program.
