The Telly Awards have named United Film House as a Bronze Winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards on their first commercial collaboration as a production company; a Milky Way Candy Bar spec commercial entitled “Out of this World.” Since 1979, The Telly Awards have annually showcased the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. Entries do not compete against each other - they compete against a high standard of excellence. And with nearly 11,000 global entries annually, the win is heartwarming affirmation that the young company is on the right track.

UNITED FILM HOUSE

The Boutique Creative company United Film House works with clients, and specializes in the production of visual content, with a focus on teamwork, inspiration, and story. Founded by Entertainment Professionals Blake West and Camille LaBry, the team has worked together on several productions since 2010, including a slate of music videos for Oasis alum Noel Gallagher - one video stars Russell Brand, and was voted Top 20 Video of 2011 by Yahoo Music.

“The most important thing is to tell a story,” says West. “When you engage the audience, they become fans. And fans are the best customers, because everybody wins,” adds LaBry.

As solo acts, the pair has shared other successes. Director Blake West recently sold the scripted show, “LA Woman” to MTV, and his work with industry moguls such as Marta Kauffman, Morgan Neville and Quentin Tarantino has landed his work a Grammy nomination as well as onto the short list for the Oscars. Producer/Writer Camille LaBry enjoys the Telly as her first award for writing, on the heels of “The Maxwell Files”, a television pilot, nominated in the 2011 AOF Awards. As a producer, her successes include the box office action-packed, “Bad Ass” and Guinness Book of World Records’, “The Owner.”

“Everything we do is a supportive collaboration,” says West on working with his partner. “It’s magic.” LaBry adds, “We’ve always worked well together, but joining our focus into creating United Film House has that special connection that transforms intention into art, and story into a functioning medium for success.”
