Protection from the sun is not just good common sense: It’s now more fashionable than ever. Vizini, Inc. is the company responsible for the completely strapless women’s sun visor that slips onto your sunglasses. This clever sun visor fills the void between sweaty matted hair, smudged make-up, and the headaches that come with traditional clamp-style or strap sun visors and going without any protection from the sun. This is an accessory that no one should be without to guard against the damaging and aging effects of harmful UV rays.
“I was on my way out the door to my kid’s swim meet when I cut the first bill off of one of my husband’s baseball caps and taped it onto my sunglasses,” says Rita Hockenbury. Tinkering with an idea of shading her face, protecting her eyes, and keeping her curly hair curly paid off. In 2009, Vizini, Inc. launched the strapless sun visor that slips onto sunglasses. The innovation addressed the “hat hair,” sweating, headaches and forehead lines that traditional headband and clamp-style sun visors produce. According to owner Rita Hockenbury, sales of the Vizini strapless sun visor have continually grown, mostly due to word of mouth from enthusiastic customers-the Hallmark of a solid product.
That rapid growth of interest, as well as feedback from customers, prompted Hockenbury to forge ahead with the launch of a wider Vizini for the customer who wants a little more coverage. “You have to listen to your customer’s needs and simply fulfill them,” says Hockenbury. While the original size is still equally as popular as the new wider version, including the “I wish it had more coverage” customer has proven to be a wise move. “We didn’t intend on making both sizes. When we kicked-off the new size at a tradeshow in January, we thought we would only make one size depending on what the store buyers ordered. They ordered and have re-ordered both sizes.”
Vizini, bearing “Proudly Made in USA” on its tag, comes in Fall prints as well. When Fall rolls around, the Vizini wearer doesn’t want to give up that UV rays protection and they don’t have to. Vizini in corduroys, hounds tooth, plaids, etc., look great with a jacket, sweater or even the heaviest winter coat. “Our customers tell us they get tons of compliments on these smart-looking Fall visors.”
With this women’s sun visor, one no longer has to risk wrinkled brows, forehead, and eyes caused by squinting in the sun just to save their hairstyle. From Hot Pink to Navy Tartan Plaid, this is a fashionable sun visor that comes in colors, prints, and fabrics for every season of the year. Vizini can be customized with silk-screening or a special fabric all featuring the same high-quality construction.
The Vizini women’s sun visor is available to customers for single-item purchase for personal use on the company’s website, Vizini.com. They are also available in hundreds of stores throughout the US.
