Waxman, CFP® are included in Worth Magazine's: The Nation's Top 100 Wealth Advisors, as published in the October 2007 edition. Hanratty and Waxman are the only two Cleveland area financial advisors to make the list, and are two of only four, listed in the state of Ohio. Worth Magazine's The Top 100 Wealth Advisors issue is the culmination of a year of extensive research by Worth's editorial staff. In choosing "America's Premier Financial Strategists for Global Investing," Worth Magazine reviewed nominated advisors' responses to an extensive questionnaire in which they listed their educational credentials, compensation structure, client retention rate, outlook on the investment climate and model portfolio returns. Those selected for the list devised and executed the most innovative yet appropriate solutions to their clients' financial problems. Hanratty serves as the director of Career Development for the North Eastern Ohio Financial Planning Association (FPA) Board and two financial planning related boards for the University of Akron.
Waxman distinguishes himself as an independent Board Member of several corporations, as a Board Member of several not-for-profit organizations, and through substantial service to other civic and professional organizations.
