Howler Technologies today introduced its Howlets Screamer Windows Server Software Development Kit, WolfPack SDK. This kit will enable customers in the Windows VoIP IP PBX market to significantly increase the capability of their telephony systems, while using their own proprietary server software coupled with Howler’s Howlets G.729 software or its G.729 Screamer PCI-express hardware.

G.729, when applied to Voice over IP calls, compresses the audio data to use significantly less network bandwidth than a standard or uncompressed VoIP call. Howler’s WolfPack SDK will support virtually any number of simultaneous G.729 channels and is limited only by available processing power.
