Legacy Keepers, the only single provider of audio, book and video legacy services with a nationwide network of personal historians, announced Wednesday it will exhibit at the 2011 AARP Life@50+ Convention, being held September 22-24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Exhibiting in booth 834, Legacy Keepers personnel will be on hand to discuss its personal history and family history preservation services. Director Corina Kellam, who will be attending the conference, sees an increasing demand among Baby Boomers to preserve the life story of themselves or a senior family member.

“I see so many Boomers suddenly recognizing that preserving personal history is incredibly important. Whether it’s being interviewed themselves or asking a loved one to be interviewed, it’s the little colorful anecdotes that really tell the story of someone’s heritage. After a client gets down childhood stories, ancestral information, or reminisces about those big benchmark events, they often say they can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that those memories are recorded. We pride ourselves on making that process as easy as possible.”

In addition, mention AARP during a phone purchase and Legacy Keepers will extend a ten percent discount off of any Legacy Keepers service. The discount is valid throughout the convention and for the remainder of September.

The 2011 edition of AARP Life@50+ runs from Thursday, September 22 through Saturday September 24 at the LA Convention Center. More information is available at http://www.aarp.org/about-aarp/events/national_event/.
