The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released the ABA East All-Star Team that will compete in the ABA All-Star Game in Nashville on Sunday, March 22nd as part of a gala event that will include the Final Game of the ABA Playoffs. According to Ron Hicks and Jay Sills, Chairmen of the East All-Star Selection Committee, "As good as these players are, and they are good, when we look at the players that were left off the team in the East, we believe we could have a second competitive All-Star team.

The talent is truly amazing and we feel for those who didn't make it, but we know that those who did really deserve it for outstanding play all season. The West will be very surprised."
