The best abdominal exercise to get started with is the “Dead Bug,” an exercise lying on the back with the arms and legs in the air, alternately lowering and raising opposite arms and legs in the air. The Dead Bug strengthens the deep abdominal muscles that protect the spine. The stronger a person can make these muscles, the stronger their entire body will become. That means that the kettlebell exercises will become easier and a person will be able to do more work, therefore getting faster results from the kettlebell training.
