Ability Center has today unveiled their powerful new smartphone app, which puts information about wheelchair vans and mobility equipment at customers’ fingertips.

Ability Center, one of the nation’s most respected wheelchair van and mobility equipment dealers, has today announced the debut of their powerful new smartphone app, designed to put all the information mobility customers need right in the palm of their hands.

The Information Age has enabled the spread of information through a variety of mediums, from PCs and laptops to smartphones. Ability Center realized the potential of smartphone technology for individuals with physical disabilities and created a new app for Android phones and iPhones that will provide a number of benefits.

The new app offers immediate access to local phone numbers for each Ability Center location, as well as the ability to share that information via Twitter, Facebook and email. The app also provides location-specific pages, complete with address, manager email address and hours of operation.

For those interested in purchasing a wheelchair van, the app also provides inventory links to new wheelchair vans, used handicap vans and “Hot List” inventory with accurate pricing. Numerous other advantages are provided via the new app, including rental request submissions, service request submissions, event details, full Facebook and Twitter integration, YouTube and even an image gallery.

For individuals with physical disabilities and their families, the new smartphone app offered by Ability Center provides a number of significant advantages. For instance, the app ensures that customers can easily call the closest location, with no need to look up contact information. In addition, 24/7 emergency help is available directly via the app, and service appointments and rental requests can be made with the touch of a button.

Perhaps the most innovative feature of the app is the ability it gives customers to browse the entire inventory of new and used wheelchair vans directly from their smartphone. Of course, the ability to find out what’s going on at Ability Center from the phone is also a nice addition.

The new Ability Center smartphone app offers convenience, immediate access to important information and provides today’s mobility customer with a wide range of powerful benefits.

About Ability Center: Ability Center was founded in 1994, with just a few technicians. Since that time, the company has grown to more than 70 professionals in more than six locations across the US. Today, Ability Center provides benefits for more than 10,000 people with mobility challenges per year, offering compassion, knowledge and understanding.
