Absolute Rights is the fastest growing news and opinion site on the web.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) April 12, 2013
Absolute Rights and Managing Editor Tim Young have published the latest Digital Newsletter, a biweekly collection of the most interesting and engaging articles from the company’s quickly-growing news and opinion website.
The main article was contributed by Brent Dickerson, who honors the passing of Margaret Thatcher, believed by Dickerson to be a dying breed of national leader.
“I fear that the strength and power of the men and women like Margaret Thatcher have faded into history, and I fear that the lessons that could be learned from those men and women will be lost to the ages,” wrote Dickerson.
The article acknowledged some of the American predecessors, like-minded freedom fighters in today’s political scene, but claimed that “when the heat comes on, many of these men and women back down and retreat to the safety of their comfort zones.”
The Newsletter’s next article comes from Michael R. Shannon, who investigates the Republican Party’s need to reach out to new groups of people.
“Confining Republican outreach efforts to shareholder annual meetings and Daughters of the American Revolution gatherings is obviously not working,” said Shannon in the article. After deliberating the issue, he asks, “if simple outreach and individual contact is the root of the problem, why don’t we try marketing the existing recipe before we start tinkering with the product?”
In the following article, contributor Jessica Johnson discusses the “Firearm Risk Protection Act,” a new bill introduced that would require gun owners to purchase insurance.
“This act is nothing more than the federal government putting a short leash as well as a choke collar on the American people,” opined Johnson in the article. “Fads come and go, and so let’s hope that this ant-gun fad will fly over soon. This is nothing more than a progressive recipe for the American people to give up the Second Amendment.”
The last article in the Newsletter was written by Dickerson and features the latest developments from North Korea and its now infamous leader Kim Jong-Un.
Dickerson said that “In many Asian cultures, including Korea, there is a need for their culture to “save face.” This means, among other things, to not back down out of fear of appearing weak. Un may reach a point where his rhetoric goes too far, and in order to save face, he must go all the way.”
“With the expulsion of foreign diplomats, it seems that Un’s attempts at consolidation may not be working,” added Dickerson in the article. “What we must fear now is that Un will do something stupid.”
