As America prepares for Obamacare’s establishment, Young explains how he feels the tax is indeed a penalty, spurning more debate over how the bill should be technically classified.

According to a recent article from Absolute Rights Managing Editor Tim Young, 6 million people are about to face a tax hike under the Obama administration thanks to the new health care bill.

Even though Young says that the President promised not to raise taxes on individuals making less than $200,000, the promise is being forgotten, based on Young’s perspective.

“According to the Congressional Budget Office analysis of the bill,” Young wrote, “80% of those hurt by this new tax make less than $115,000 in a family of four or $55,850 as an individual... so you can be certain that some of our readers will be hit.”

As America prepares for Obamacare’s establishment, Young explains how he feels the tax is indeed a penalty, spurning more debate over how the bill should be technically classified.

“In a side note on this story,” continues Young in the article, “it's interesting that Mitt Romney was criticized by the media for saying the middle class included those families making $250,000 or less, yet the President in his campaign in 2008 used that same number to make a point about who he wouldn't raise taxes on.”

A frequent critic of the current administration, Young often asks readers to comment if they believe the country is headed in the right direction or not.
