Young’s perspective as Managing Editor has given him an opportunity to analyze the impact of political events leading up to the November election.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) September 08, 2012
According to a recent article by Absolute Rights Managing Editor Tim Young, President Obama’s speech Thursday night at the Democratic Convention was moved not because of weather but because of potential political embarrassment.
Young wrote that “President Obama's campaign was worried that they couldn't fill all 74,000 seats... or anything close to that at Bank of America stadium on Thursday night, so they moved it to the Time Warner Cable arena.”
The reason for the move, according to Young, had little to do with the forecasted thunderstorms and more to do with the avoidance of a thin crowd and the appearance of less popularity and recognition for the Democratic Party.
“Nice try Democrats,” Young said in the article. “It's not hard to weed through this spin.”
