Absolute Rights' access and coverage produced during the convention shouldn’t be missed, and audiences can look forward to it all week.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 28, 2012
Absolute Rights has released the first of many video reports from the Republican National Convention, and have focused on the heightened security levels that are affecting Tampa and the surrounding area.
Absolute Rights is on the ground in Tampa, Florida for the Republican National Convention, and a little rain won’t stop them from delivering up-to-date reports from the biggest GOP gathering leading up to the November election.
While a collection of high-level officials and such large groups of spectators will lead to obvious security issues, Absolute Rights Managing Editor Tim Young suspected a sense of overkill and a disproportionate number of barricades and uniformed law enforcement personnel.
“The question is,” Young says in the video, “is this all necessary? Or is it a little overdone on the taxpayer dollar?”
Young speaks with several Tampa locals about the extreme security coverage, and many are surprised to see it at such high levels. “What’s the purpose of all that?” asks one interviewee, “Because, whatever is going to happen is going to happen… I think they’re overdoing it.”
