Acceller Announces Executive Promotions

Andrew Monahan is now Vice President of Direct Sales. James Leichtenschlag and Ben Vides promoted to Vice President positions.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) November 20, 2008 -- Acceller, America's leading comparison shopping platform for digital home services, has announced the promotions of three executives: Andrew Monahan, James Leichtenschlag and Ben Vides.

Mr. Monahan has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Direct Sales. Since joining Acceller in 2007, Mr. Monahan has overseen the development and remarkable growth of their direct-to-consumer sales channels, particularly under Acceller's Digital Landing brand.

"Andy has really been the driving force behind our direct sales initiative," said Steven McKean, CEO of Acceller. "Our sales volume is up nearly 400% since Andy joined our team."

Mr. Monahan's expanded role includes managing reseller call center programs, working with reseller team on alternative business models and guiding the development of DigitalLanding.com as both a technology information site and a comparison shopping platform for digital home services, including High-Speed Internet, Cable Television and Digital Voice services. Prior to joining Acceller, Mr. Monahan served as Director of Acquisition Marketing for AOL.

Acceller has named James Leichtenschlag as Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Leichtenschlag joined Acceller in 2007 as Senior Director of Product Management, overseeing Acceller's software development projects, including systems for managing billing, order status and customer data. Mr. Leichtenschlag previously served as Director of Business Development for Fujitsu Consulting.

"Jim has managed some of our most important development projects, from defining the initial requirements straight through to the successful implementation of the completed product," said McKean. "With him now leading our technology team, we look forward to constant innovation."

Ben Vides is now Vice President of Product Management. Mr. Vides will be responsible for leading the product roadmap for the Digital Landing platform, coordinating the implementation of technology projects as well new provider and product integration. Mr. Vides will also oversee product analysis and merchandising plans for Acceller's various service providers.

McKean said "Ben has really been at the center of all that we do. In an atmosphere of rapid growth and innovation, Ben has been the person who has been able to integrate it all into a clear product roadmap that kept all our teams moving in the same direction toward a unified goal."

Before joining Acceller in 2006, Mr. Vides served as Vice President of Product Development & Technology for Autoscribe.
