Among the findings of the case study:

•     Overall costs were reduced by $25,000 per month on average
•     2009 total savings were nearly $435,000 – a 132.2% return on investment in a single year
•     Inventory accuracy increased from 96% in 2006 to 98.978% in 2009; inventory costs dropped from $60k to $15k; inventory time dropped from 5 days to 1.5 days; periodic cycle counts were eliminated
•     On a total 2009 inventory valuation of $6,157,684, the negative variance was only $1,345.00
