Accent Building Products, an online direct distributor of home renovation products, announces the addition of two new styles of birch kitchen cabinets to their product offering. Accent is expanding their portfolio of these cabinets to provide additional, less expensive options to their customers. Maple cabinets are the most popular type of wood cabinets, but birch offer the distinct advantage of being more affordable. Increasing numbers of consumers are investigating birch as an option for their cabinets because it has the look of maple but is offered at a price commonly considered discount or cheap. Both maple and birch are light in color and can be easily stained to provide an attractive finish. Birch is also slightly grainer giving kitchen cabinets more texture and added visual interest. Consumer demand has increased for birch wood cabinets over recent years as homeowners and builders have sought lower-cost alternatives. "We began our birch line by offering just two basic styles that were available in only two finishes. This was back in 2008," reports Lawrence DePippa, Internet Marketing Manager of Accent Building Products. "Today we have expanded to four styles and will soon add a fifth; but the exciting part is there are also additional finishes being offered. The launch of our new birch cabinets begins with 4 finishes and expands to the full 6 finishes, which our current Madison and Hillcrest styles have, in the very near future. This enables us to offer the homeowner more choices."
The two new styles, Atlanta 1 and Atlanta 2, feature flat panel doors and simple drawer fronts that meet consumers' demands for modern and contemporary looks. "Today's consumer focuses on the design aesthetic, color, and quality of the construction which is a sharp contrast to the 80's, 90's and very early 2000's when wood species was often the main deciding factor," DePippa adds.
