Reduce image file size up to 70% while preserving resolution and quality with Android app and new website.

What makes ThinPic ideal for both professional and casual photographers is that our method for reducing photo file sizes can maintain the original resolution of the image, while reducing more than the device’s built-in file reduction achieves.

Accusoft, the leading provider of document, content and imaging solutions, announces the release of ThinPic for Android, a simple and easy-to-use app that reduces photo file sizes without compromising resolution or image quality. The ThinPic technology has also been expanded to include Facebook integration for the iOS app and web access to the technology using JPEGWizard.com.

ThinPic will create a new album of selected photos and reduce the photo file sizes up to 70% of their original size. The newly saved photos will retain their original image quality and resolution. Using ThinPic, iPad®, iPod® and now Android device, users can store up to three times as many high-resolution photos on their device or cloud storage services.

“What makes ThinPic ideal for both professional and casual photographers is that our method for reducing photo file sizes can maintain the original resolution of the image, while reducing more than the device’s built-in file reduction achieves,” said Steve Wilson, Director of Native Core Imaging for Accusoft.

In addition to mobile photo shrinking, Accusoft also launched the JPEGWizard.com website as another way to easily reduce photo file sizes. JPEGwizard.com is powered by ThinPic and enables users to shrink and share their photos using a free 24 hour session.

Users can download ThinPic for free from the Google Play® app store and try it out on up to three photos per day. An in-app purchase of $1.99 removes the three photos per day limit.

For more information, visit http://www.thinpic.com or download from Google Play™. ThinPic for iOS™ is available in the iTunes® Store.

Coming soon, users will be able to send pictures directly from the ThinPic app for Android to Facebook and email.
