ACS Announces Update to TripPak MOBILE Smart Phone Application

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), A Xerox Company, announces the release of the latest version of TripPak MOBILE, which is now free for download to both iPhone and Android-based smart phone users.

TripPak MOBILE, the smart phone application powered by UFollowIt™ that allows drivers the ability to update their trip status, confirm pick-up and delivery with signature capture, and capture trip documents for submission directly from the smart phone, was previously available for purchase for $1.99. The latest version incorporates improved safety features, faster document capture capabilities, a document review option, and load tracking enhancements.

“The excellent feedback we received from the driver community is what led to the release of this update for TripPak MOBILE,” said Kelley Walkup, division vice president and general manager for ACS. “A number of new features designed to improve the user experience as well as the safety of mobile solutions have been added in this release, and we are confident drivers and fleets will enjoy the new enhancements.”

TripPak MOBILE’s latest release includes:

Improved safety: TripPak MOBILE now disables automatically when motion is detected, reducing distractions and improving safety.

Faster document capture: To reduce the time required to capture all documents for a trip, drivers can now capture all documents and then transmit images in the background automatically without having to lift a finger.

Document review option: To make sure all documents have been captured as intended, drivers now have the option to review all of the documents for a single trip prior to submitting them. While reviewing the images the user has the option to Approve, Retake, or Delete.

Improved driver support: A new Help button has been added that will provide TripPak support contact information as well as a library of “How To” videos that will aid drivers in getting the very most from TripPak MOBILE.

Load tracking enhancements: Drivers now have the option to communicate load status updates back to their motor carrier automatically using the new “Auto Status” feature set. Auto Status will notify location information to the motor carrier on a scheduled basis, as triggered by Pickup/Delivery events. Additionally, all Tracking features can be toggled off by setting Auto Status to “off.”

Image cropping improvements: For iPhone users, the cropping logic has been changed from a floating to fixed cropping box, which will assist drivers in creating high quality images.

Additional transaction information: The View History Page has been expanded to include the date the driver submits their documents to the motor carrier via TripPak MOBILE.
