Delta Community Supports Selects ActiveStrategy Software and Consulting Services to Accelerate Their Performance Excellence Efforts

Delta Community Supports, an organization that provides support and care to individuals and families living with developmental disabilities, has selected ActiveStrategy to provide performance management consulting services and Balanced Scorecard software.

ActiveStrategy, Inc., the leading provider of comprehensive performance management software and consulting, announced that Delta Community Supports, a mission-driven organization that provides support and care to individuals and families living with developmental disabilities, has selected ActiveStrategy to provide the consulting services and software needed to build and deploy a Balanced Scorecard-based performance management framework to support and enhance their mission.

Since 1977, Delta Community Supports has provided comprehensive care to countless individuals and families living with developmental disabilities in southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The organization of nearly 600 employees has been recognized numerous times for its continuous pursuit of excellence and ability to improve the quality of life for the people it serves. In 2005, for example, it received Pennsylvania’s Keystone Award for Proficiency in Performance Excellence. The Keystone Award is based on the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Award criteria, which is a proven system for assessing and improving organizational performance.

Under the terms of the agreement, the ActiveStrategy strategic consulting team will work closely with the leadership at Delta Community Supports to create and deploy a comprehensive top-level Balanced Scorecard that will closely reflect the organization’s mission and strategic goals. The Balanced Scorecard will include key objectives from Delta’s current strategic plan, as well as related performance measures, targets, and focused improvement initiatives. Once the top-level scorecard is complete, ActiveStrategy will work with key department members to create lower-level scorecards that reflect the focus and role of each department and support area as they work to achieve key outcomes.

This cascaded scorecard framework will be automated in ActiveStrategy Enterprise web-based performance management software, which will create dynamic, intuitive links among all of Delta’s related scorecards, objectives, measures, and initiatives. This linked, accessible framework will enable all employees to clearly see how their work contributes to organizational goals, allow decision makers to identify and address hidden causes of performance gaps, and enable employees at all levels to manage performance and improvement more proactively and effectively.

ActiveStrategy software has a distinctive capability that allows lower-level scorecards to flow from a top-level scorecard, while also reflecting what is specific to each area’s business functions, objectives, and performance gaps.
