The VICC trains emergency management, planning, mitigation, and response personnel from civilian and government agencies for fire, emergency, terrorist attacks, and other disaster situations such as hurricanes and floods. Trainees include police, firefighters, military, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and others. The state-of-the-art facility houses a main control room, a fire truck cab, a Ford F150 truck, a command van, eight situation rooms, and classrooms.
