I am a believer that the only thing that sets us apart these days is the level of customer service offered to the customer on an individual basis.

LifeStorage, Chicago self storage provider for home and business, is holding a Spring Into Life Fair at its Addison location at 426 South Westgate on Saturday April 20th, from 9am-3pm. The Fair will encompass a variety events, all held at the Addison location, including a garage sale, food drive, blood drive, free wellness screenings and diagnostic testing, and more. Not only will the event be open to current LifeStorage customers and community members, but over 20 local businesses and organizations will be in attendance as well. This is the biggest event LifeStorage Addison has ever hosted, and with the amount of participants and planning, Store Manager Karin Selga anticipates this being a huge success.
“It actually morphed from the garage sale idea that we did last year. We wanted more of a presence in the community. Attendees will include community members, current tenants, and many from the Chamber events I have attended. The only restriction was only one vendor for any one industry, first come, first serve,” said Selga. “At first we were going with a Health Fair and Garage Sale theme, but then we had many vendors interested in participating who were not health related. With the season changing and the weather warming up, that's when we came up with the Spring Into Life Fair.”
Some of the event's attendees will include The American Cancer Society, Pampered Chef, The Addison Police and Fire Departments, PNC Bank, Sam's Club, and LifeSource, who will handle the blood drive. As mentioned, there will also be a Garage Sale where current tenants and community members will have units set up to sell their wares. There will also be children’s activities, a Touch-a-Truck raffle, and refreshments provided by Sam's Club.
“I am a believer that the only thing that sets us apart these days is the level of customer service offered to the customer on an individual basis,” Selga said. “Community is very important which is why the food drive, blood drive and health screenings are so integral to this Fair.”
“This is a family-friendly, free event for all to attend. There will be approximately 22-23 vendors, children’s activities and many things to see. I am very excited to be holding the event here at LifeStorage Addison so the community understands that we offer much more than just storage. As a business, LifeStorage is just as much about having a strong, positive community presence as it is about providing amazing storage solutions!”
