Sinking Economy = More Addiction. C.A.R.E.S. Helps Calls for Action, and Offers a Solution

The decline of the economy invariably results in people finding ways to cope with their new stresses and anxiety, which often turns them to addiction. Unfortunately with financial issues being the cause of their addictions, these addicts find themselves even less capable of affording addiction treatment. This is where C.A.R.E.S. Helps comes in, offering a place where donations can be made, and matched, for addiction treatment scholarships.

North Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 22, 2008 -- The stock market wants to make me take drugs. I am losing my house and my car. I don't know what to do about paying for gas. Is it any wonder that people are turning to drugs with greater frequency? The more stress that society feels the more people find themselves needing addiction treatment. C.A.R.E. Addiction Recovery is here to help.

Unfortunately the corollary to lost jobs is lost insurance, increasing debt and limited funds. As we look around, we see more and more people in need of treatment who can not afford it. Waiting lists at public programs are growing longer and longer by the day. People are dying, and they can not afford the help.

The board of trustees of C.A.R.E.S. Helps foundation in cooperation with Professional Training announces a call to action. Faced by an increasing number of people requiring treatment, the foundation is seeking to raise funds to subsidize treatment and treatment loans. The board of trustees of C.A.R.E.S. Helps has authorized the implementation of a fund raising drive for treatment scholarships for people in need. C.A.R.E. has pledged to match dollar for dollar every dollar donated to the foundation. In addition, for every twenty two thousand dollars raised, C.A.R.E. will provide one fully paid scholarship to some needy person.

Said Mitch Wallick Executive Director of C.A.R.E.S. Helps, while large donations would be gladly accepted, any amount will be helpful. C.A.R.E. as a company is doing everything they can. Dr. Susan Naversen, a member of the C.A.R.E. Board has pledged that all monies collected for urine tests will go directly to the foundation. In addition C.A.R.E. has agreed to donate all the administrative expenses, office space, etc. to the foundation.

For further information on the program, call C.A.R.E.S. helps at 866 494 0866 or visit the web site www.helpanaddict.org. Remember, your donation may help save a life and a family.
