The Front Desk Staff at the Adelaide Inn, Paso Robles has won the Eberle Winery contest for a VIP Tour and Wine Tasting. Eberle Winery challenged the front desk staff at various Paso Robles hotels to promote the Eberle Winery Tasting Room and Eberle Wines. “The premise of the contest was to promote the winery (Eberle) locally through various hotels. We provided tasting cards to its guest with a complimentary wine tastes and a 20% discount on wine purchases at the winery. There were 7 hotels involved in the Hotel Challenge. Every month we calculated the total amount of sales from each hotel’s tasting cards and determined a winner,” explained Todd Nelson, Sales Manager for Eberle Winery.
The Adelaide Inn won a VIP Tour and Wine Tasting at Eberle Winery. The Wine Spectator calls Eberle’s VIP Tasting, “One of the best tours on the Central Coast.” Eight front desk staff participated in the private cellar tasting. The Adelaide Inn staff learned about the history of the Paso Robles appellation as well as Eberle Winery’s contribution to the growing wine industry – and enjoyed a private tasting of 8 selected wines served with various cheeses. The VIP Tour and Wine Tasting was a treat for the staff as well as a learning experience to pass on to the guests of the Adelaide Inn.
