Adirondack Extreme is an adventurous obstacle course set in the heights of the Adirondack Forest and features tree to tree experiences for all ages and fitness levels. Elements of the park's 5 color-coded Adult courses (ages 11+), Kids course (ages 7-10) and squirrels den (ages 3-7) include: 130 games, two giant Tyrolean zip lines (350ft. in length), Tarzan swings, suspended bridges, scramble nets, swinging logs, surfboards, all set 20 to 50 feet above the ground. “We've found that entertainment can be a physical challenge,” says Owner Jamie Johnson, who encourages everyone to “find his or her inner monkey.”

All participants attend a brief training session where they are fitted into a harness and shown how to attach themselves to safety lines and zip lines and is designed to allow for self-management as they travel through the course. Ground patrol-staff observe and guide from below.

Locally owned and operated, Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course opened Memorial Day Weekend in 2007 and remains the United States only TreeGo aerial adventure course. Directions: Exit 24 off I-87, Left onto Westwood Forest Lane, Bolton Landing, N.Y.
