Leading Insurance provider, Aequitas Automotive, have announced ambitious plans to provide a range of niche insurance products to motor dealers, insurance brokers and leasing companies in the UK. The move comes in response to huge interest in the current range of 'benchmark' products offered on the Easy Gap and GapInsurance123 brands,

The new range of products will be available on a new system, BMPro, which will be available for any authorised retailer in the UK. Company director, Mark Griffiths, explained how the new system works, and why the approach may be different from other product suppliers in the market.

"Our current Gap Insurance brands, Easy Gap and GapInsurance123, have attracted great interest over the last couple of years. The market for Gap Insurance has got much more sophisticated, and we have worked very hard to ensure our products are considered a 'benchmark' in the market."

"The recent award of [ six 5 Star Ratings from Defaqto* for a range of Motor Gap Insurance products we provide, meant that Aequitas Automotive have more top rated products than any other UK Motor Gap Insurance provider. This has raised interest still further."

"We have received a huge number of inquiries from motor dealers (where motor gap insurance offered on new car purchases), and other large organisations in the UK motor industry, regarding our products. It would appear that the Aequitas products may well be considered superior to the cover these companies may already offer."

"The traditional Motor Gap Insurance product in a dealer is a three year Return to Invoice product, but innovations such as deferred start dates, and up to 5 year cover are now becoming more the norm in the market."

"As a result of this we are working on a range of products to make available via our BMPro system, that will give car dealers access to equally well featured products. The beauty of the system is that it can provide a range of products from a range of providers."

"This is a system that will offer motor dealers and insurance brokers access to the best products around, without the tie to a finance company or vehicle manufacturer. This will also eliminate certain 'middle men' that can increase the cost of these products to the dealer."

Aequitas Automotive confirmed that they expect the BMPro system to be piloted in motor dealers in the third quarter of 2013.
