We saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between the increasing inventory of higher quality digital aesthetic content and the actual marketing material being displayed at the practice.

Software developer FriendMedia has announced the launch of Aesthetic.TV an innovative approach to in-practice patient engagement and procedure education for the aesthetic community. The San Fransisco Bay area organization developed Aesthetic.TV to help providers drive targeted content and promote practice offerings to qualified aesthetic medicine patients at the point of care.

According to FriendMedia COO Nick Magruder, Aesthetic TV allows providers to display high-quality digital aesthetic content and stream Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube posts seamlessly with just a few clicks. Providers can also customize templates for practice promotions, patient events, and enhance brand awareness.

The aim is to help aesthetic practitioners move away from antiquated print marketing procedures and take advantage of the power of today’s digital and social media promotional capabilities.

“Print material has become outdated and prohibitively expensive for promoting products and services with every new season or product launch,” Magruder says. “When we visit aesthetic providers, the first thing we notice is the inundation of dozens of brand portals, dated patient brochures, and brand DVDs.

“With more than 30 million consumers visiting aesthetic practices in 2016, we saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between the increasing inventory of higher quality digital aesthetic content and the actual marketing material being displayed at the practice level.”

Today, aesthetic providers can customize their dynamic content within a few minutes and display it on up to 4K Ultra HD TVs throughout their practices with Aesthetic.TV’s solutions.

“We first market tested Aesthetic.TV in June 2016,” says Min Wang, FriendMedia CTO. “Our early adopters offered valuable feedback for our development team, and we continue to add value based on the specific needs identified by members of the aesthetic community.”

Feedback from early adopters include:

  • “Patients are exposed to all practice offerings, which had been a challenge for us in the past.” - Shahin Fazilat, M.D., Mountainview, California.
  • “Improved our internal marketing game tremendously.” - Michael Kelly, M.D., Miami Plastic Surgery, Miami, Florida.
  • “Just made it extremely simple to target the captive audience.” - Steven Swengel, M.D., San Jose, California.
  • “Stimulating productive conversations.” - Stephen Ronan, M.D., Blackhawk Plastic Surgery, Danville, California.

Established aesthetic clinics are invited to participate in FriendMedia’s Aesthetic.TV early-adopter program.
