Our goal is to produce an annual report that helps develop and reinforce best practices plus strengthen the relationships between affilates, advertisers, and agencies. Our industry depends on it for advancement.
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 11, 2010
AffiliateBenchmarks, the research division of NETexponent, the leading search and affiliate marketing agency , has released its third annual Affiliate Research Survey. The survey collects pertinent information for website publishers, advertisers, ad agencies, etc. and serves as a barometer of the variable climate that makes up the affiliate industry.
Last year’s 48-question survey not only collected information from over 3,500 industry experts and insiders but also holds the honor of being the largest research study the affiliate industry has ever seen. The information resulted in the 70 page AffiliateBenchmarks Report. While the 2009 report is still available for $199, it was also distributed for free to participants of the survey that completed all questions. This same offer exists for all 2010 participants.
“This year, we’ve added an agency survey and an advertiser survey,” states Peter Figueredo, NETexponent CEO. “The past couple of years we would get emails from industry partners saying they wished they could participate or from affiliates asking for data on these parties. We couldn’t think of a reason not to open it up to all avenues of this amazing industry!”
In addition to major industry companies such as Google, CommissionJunction, ShareASale, and MediaTrust, organizations like the Performance Marketing Association also support this effort. NETexponent invites the entire affiliate industry to participate in this survey as they hope to exceed last year’s landmark participation. The insights generated from the data collected are aimed at both advertisers and publishers to aid in the development of successful business strategies.
“AffiliateBenchmarks recognizes the importance of industry research and education,” co-founder Chris Kramer has noted. “Our goal is to produce an annual report that helps develop and reinforce best practices plus strengthen the relationships between affiliates, advertisers, and agencies. Our industry depends on it for advancement.”
Affiliates, advertisers, and agencies are encouraged to take the quick survey before the July 16th deadline so they can receive the results for free.
