Mancheski will continue to strengthen LLG’s position as the leading forum in Louisiana for exchanging information, ideas, education and updates in the areas of affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and diversity.
New Orleans, LA (Vocus/PRWEB) April 01, 2011
OutSolve, the nation’s leading outsourcing provider of OFCCP compliant affirmative action programs (AAPs), announced Principal Jeremy Mancheski has been appointed president of the Louisiana Liaison Group (LLG), an association that promotes affirmative action and equal employment opportunity by encouraging dialogue and open communication between the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Louisiana Human Rights Commission.
Mancheski was elected to serve a two-year term as president of the Louisiana Liaison Group (LLG) at the December 2010 LLG meeting. In addition to this role, Mancheski will serve as chair of the program committee for the 2011 National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) Conference to be held July 25 to 29, 2011 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Industry Liaison Groups (ILG) were initially developed to encourage open communication between federal contractors and the OFCCP. As a seasoned affirmative action consultant, Mancheski is able to understand and promote effective dialogue between these two groups. His role as LLG president will enable him to engage speakers and showcase topics relevant to the membership. Mancheski is a frequent speaker at regional Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and ILG groups across the country, making his role as Chair of the NILG Program Committee a natural fit.
“With extensive knowledge and expertise surrounding affirmative action planning and Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance, Mancheski will continue to strengthen LLG’s position as the leading forum in Louisiana for exchanging information, ideas, education and updates in the areas of affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and diversity,” said Lynne Broussard, immediate-past president of LLG and director-HR at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of LA. “Moreover, with the support of Mancheski and fellow board officials, LLG will provide invaluable resources for its member federal contractors to network and learn from some of the nation’s top subject matter experts and key presenters.”
LLG holds quarterly meetings to allow smaller contractors the opportunity to participate in dialogue with the staff of the OFCCP and their human resource peers. Human resource executives and Louisiana contractors seeking to attend LLG meetings should visit http://www.louisianaliaisongroup.com.
