Losing a loved is very difficult and it often comes through in our conversations with them. Attempting to bring a small ray of light to their day is incredibly rewarding, and above all that's what we love to do and have been trying to do all year.

On June 10, 2015, OneWorld Memorials celebrated one year in business providing urns, cremation jewelry, and other sympathy gifts. At the end of July, the company released its sales data for the previous year, and also announced ambitious new goals for the following business cycle.

The OneWorld Memorials website launched in August 2014 with 10 suppliers. In its first months online, the company doubled its sales for three consecutive months, while reporting more than 10% growth in each of the following months as well. OneWorld Memorials President Ira Woods also contracted with a third party customer review service to verify customer reviews.

"This urn is beautiful and was carefully engraved by OneWorld Memorials," wrote reviewer Wendy R in January of 2015. "They carefully packaged it and shipped it quickly with personalized touches that meant a lot to my family. Highly recommend this company when ordering an urn."

According to Woods, "Perhaps the most beautiful part for me this year has been my interaction with the customers. Losing a loved is very difficult and it often comes through in our conversations with them. Attempting to bring a small ray of light to their day is incredibly rewarding, and above all that's what we love to do and have been trying to do all year."

After experiencing strong interest in personalized memorial gifts, primarily custom engraved urns and jewelry, OneWorld Memorials will expand its personalization operation starting immediately.

To solidify growing sales, Woods secured an accreditation with the Better Business Bureau and became an official member of the International Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association this year. The company website will also continue to publish articles from a team of writers related to the funeral industry and grieving process. In addition, the company has started working with local crafts artists in Peru and Turkey.

Looking forward to 2016, Woods announced his goal of doubling the company's size within another year. From the original 10 suppliers, Woods now draws from a pool of 25 suppliers, and he plans to pursue more partners in 2016.
