Americans for Prosperity, the largest conservative grassroots foundation in Nevada, is hosting "Freedom Day" at Henderson Pavilion on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Freedom Day will celebrate America and the first day of early voting with many free activities, events and food.

The evening's main attraction will be a free, full-length concert by the multi-platinum band 3 Doors Down. Before that, the expected crowd of more than 3000 will enjoy the music of Las Vegas artist Dave Ritz. Also taking the stage as special guest speakers will be Olympic medalists Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Chad Hedrick.

The event is open to all ages and will include several free pre-concert activities including bounce houses, face painting, balloons and caricature artists. Some of Southern Nevada's most popular food trucks will be also be on hand giving attendees delicious options when it comes to food and drinks. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
