AGA, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, and CCO Partner to Provide Educational Coverage of the 2019 Crohn’s & Colitis Congress
RESTON, Va. (PRWEB) July 27, 2018 -- Clinical Care Options (CCO) has been selected to serve as the CME conference coverage provider of the 2019 Crohn’s & Colitis Congress. The Crohn’s & Colitis Congress, a partnership between the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (the Foundation) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), is the premier conference for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) professionals. By building on our expertise in developing educational programming focused on immune-mediated disease, CCO will create a conference coverage program that will impact thousands of clinicians who manage patients with IBD.
CCO’s educational coverage of the congress, which will be held February 7-9, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada, will focus on the most cutting-edge advances in both clinical practice and research in IBD, and will include an analysis of highlights from both the clinical and research sessions presented during the two-day congress. Learners will have access to live and on-demand CME-certified Webcasts and downloadable presenter slides, for use as self-study resources or in their own presentations.
Participants will be provided with different perspectives, hear about potential treatments on the horizon, and take away practical information that can immediately be implemented in practice.
“IBD is at an exciting time of discovery and new therapeutic approaches. The Crohn’s & Colitis Congress is a unique meeting that brings together leading scientists and clinicians to discuss these advances,” said Maria T. Abreu, MD, AGAF, organizing committee co-chair for the Crohn’s & Colitis Congress. “The AGA and the Foundation are excited to work with CCO to bring the high-quality content presented in Las Vegas to the entire community of IBD healthcare providers, which will lead to better outcomes for all patients with IBD.”
“The 2019 Crohn’s & Colitis Congress is a necessary asset for the IBD healthcare provider community,” said Alyce Kuklinski, General Manager, Virology & Internal Medicine, CCO. “We are honored to be partnering with both the AGA and the Foundation and look forward to providing timely and relevant coverage of this important conference.”
