AGENT X today announced that it has secured top honors in three prestigious industry awards programs – Event Marketer’s 2012 Ex Awards, Promo’s Pro Awards and CableFAX Best of the Web. The awards recognize experiential events and digital marketing campaigns developed by AGENT X for two leading brands.
AGENT X received Event Marketer’s 2012 Ex Awards’ Gold Winner designation in the Best Consumer Environment/Exhibit category for its work on Symantec’s Norton Cybercrime Index. The Ex Awards, which received a record-breaking 800 entries this year, is the world’s largest recognition program for event marketing professionals. The agency’s work on the Norton Cybercrime Index exhibit was also recognized by Promo’s PRO Awards 2012, securing second place in the Best Use of Event or Guerrilla Marketing category. The PRO Awards recognize outstanding promotion marketing in 27 categories and serves as the benchmark for outstanding creativity in the marketing industry.
AGENT X’s work with the global leader in security, backup and availability solutions was recognized by Ex Awards and PRO Awards judges for its creativity and ability to achieve the company’s marketing objectives for the new Norton Cybercrime Index. With more than one-and-a half million cybercrime victims each day across the globe, the need to educate consumers about the realities of cybercrime and how to stay protected online was a key goal for the Norton Cybercrime Index exhibit. AGENT X developed an experiential program that engaged and educated consumers through a unique 360-degree HD projection orb, broadcasting informative cybersecurity data from the Norton Cybercrime Index at event locations in New York’s Grand Central Terminal and London’s Westfield Shopping Centre.
AGENT X’s client, Charter Communications, also received top honors for Charter Center Stage by CableFAX’s Best of the Web Awards. AGENT X was a key partner in the development and execution of the program, which was announced the winner in the Digital Marketing Campaign – Distributor category and also secured an honorable mention in the Contest/Online Games category. CableFAX’s Best of the Web Awards recognizes the best and brightest from the world of cable, online video and technology who are involved in the digital media revolution.
As a leading broadband communications company and the fourth largest cable operator in the United States, one of Charter’s goals for the program was to build awareness for the company as an Internet Service Provider and reach a new, younger audience through social media. Charter Center Stage was implemented during the back-to-school timeframe and designed to associate Charter with music, engaging the target demographic on their terms in order to create a relevant, impactful and lasting connection. A “Battle of the Bands” contest took place with finalists and winners chosen by fans. The winner opened the Charter Center Stage Festival with top-tier national acts and was streamed live in HD via Facebook. Additionally, fans could enter a sweepstakes to win prizes or a VIP trip to attend the festival.
