“More and more of our customers are replacing the waterfall approach in software development with Agile. Our course is 100% focused on the practical takeaways students can immediately use to implement Agile in their organizations,” said Dan McCabe, Intertech Partner.
Intertech’s agile training course uses team-based learning. The course takes participants through the entire software development lifecycle using Agile methods. The course helps students identify what Agile processes will work in their software development teams and shares tools that support Agile software development.
“The feedback on the course from reviewers has been extremely positive. The amount of information we’re able to share in only two-days is outstanding,” further stated McCabe.
The course covers all the major facets of Agile including team make-up, planning, product backlog with user stories, work prioritization, estimation, release management, sprint planning/execution/close out, risk mitigation, and best practices for Agile implementation.
The intended audience for this course is software development professionals but assumes no pre-requisites. The next offering of the course is October 4-5, 2012. The course will be held at Intertech’s headquarters located in a suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Enrollments are limited.
