Two of AHC’s top reimbursement attorneys have been honored as “Distinguished Speakers” for their presentation at the 2006 Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Annual National Institute (HFMA ANI). This award was also received in 2005.

Tracy Knowles, Esq., and Joseph Partain, Esq., have each been recognized as an HFMA ANI “Distinguished Speaker” for 2006.    Both attorneys ranked in the top 25% of the Speaker’s Score category based on evaluations completed by those who attended their seminar. The ANI, which was held in Orlando, Florida, June 17-21, was attended by over 2,000 of the healthcare finance industry’s top professionals.

AHC’s presentation, “Exploring Alternative Sources of Revenue: A Legal Appeals Session”, educated attendees on ways to utilize prompt payment penalties, respond to refund requests, draft effective appeal letters, and maximize revenue when battling claim denials and unauthorized reimbursement reductions. Relevant case law and state and federal legislation governing healthcare reimbursement were also discussed.

Having completed over 150 seminars to date, AHC maintains their commitment to the healthcare community by providing complimentary, onsite healthcare reimbursement education. Interested parties who wish to learn more are encouraged to call 888-511-7901 or visit http://www.ahcinc.com.
