The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Industria Nacional de Autopartes (INA), the automotive parts manufacturers association in Mexico, announced today a new collaborative partnership. Given the financial condition of the automotive industry, it is imperative that we collaborate with organizations like INA to share the wealth of information on supply chain and quality improvement best practices that will help this industry regain profitable growth” said J. Scot Sharland, Executive Director, AIAG.

“INA is committed to supporting competitiveness to the total automotive manufacturing value chain through national and international collaborative partnerships like this with AIAG” said Agustín Ríos, Executive Presidente, INA.

Members of both organizations will benefit from shared information and resources bringing together the best of automotive manufacturing. Further, through this memorandum of understanding, AIAG and INA have agreed to pursue areas of collaboration where appropriate, share information on initiatives and projects of common interest, as well as member discounts for publications, training and events, and work collaboratively to organize a U.S. Mexico Supply Chain Leadership Forum.
