The Living Course is meant to be an inspirational, real-world source for readers to leverage, written by people who are dealing with similar life challenges, large and small.

Given the challenges and disappointments young adults are experiencing today, Brittany Davis, a recent graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden Connecticut, decided to take charge of her own destiny and help others along the way. Brittany put her degree in Media Studies, with a minor in English, to work on a blog site for young adults called ‘The Living Course.’ To help the young graduate along, global marketing firm AIMG provided web design services for the blog pro bono.

“When Brittany came to us with this opportunity,” said Joe DeMicco, CEO & Founder of AIMG, “I was really impressed by her inspiration, particularly in the face of all the negativity young people have to contend with. I like Brittany’s approach because it's not meant to tell people how to live their lives but is about sharing new perspectives. The Living Course is meant to be an inspirational, real-world source for readers to leverage, written by people who are dealing with similar life challenges, large and small. I decided to get behind it 100% and look forward to watching it grow.”

“My studies at Quinnipiac taught me that media has the potential to truly affect the world we live in,” said Brittany Davis, the blog’s founder, “but that it is seldom used to make a positive change. I am a firm believer that life can be beautiful and that sometimes you just need help to see it. So I created ‘The Living Course’ as a place for young people to get inspired and to inspire others. Here they can share stories, songs, art, photos, ideas, troubles, or whatever they like to help them cope with the challenges they face every day as they try to build their lives and make their dreams come true.

"I am very grateful to the designers at AIMG for donating their valuable skills and time to help me. I hope that by sharing my struggles and my optimism I encourage others to share too. And that together we can inspire each other to make a positive change not only in our lives but in the world we live.”
