aioTV, an OTT and IP video platform, was selected as one of four vendors essential for all digital media businesses in the 2013 Gartner Cool Vendors report. Gartner recognized aioTV for a solution that quickly enables service providers, broadcasters and cable networks with the ability to deliver multiple sources of video content (live and VOD) through a unified user experience across connected devices.

The Gartner 2013 Cool Vendors in Media looks at key solutions that Gartner predicts are essential to the success and monetization of a digital media business. The key word common to vendor selection is “monetization”.

aioTV addresses the need to unify multiple sources of video content across a range of connected devices into a single offering for the consumer, while providing the authentication and filtering capability that ensures the consumer can access only content that is available, offered and formatted for the connected device they are using.

“aioTV was created to simplify the curation of multiple video sources into a rich TV like experience that is common across connected devices.” said Mike Earle, CEO. “We’ve built a set of tools that address the complex problems that come along with enhanced OTT functionality including; support for evolving content rights, content fragmentation, authentication, location filtering, device support and filtering, deep personalization and social media sharing – all decoupled from infrastructure, supporting any language on any broadband network.
