Stop-painting.com is exhibiting their unique floor marking solutions this week at the MODEX tradeshow in Atlanta. They are offering free samples of their patent pending aisle marking tape to be used to perform durability tests in industrial environments.
Cliff Lowe, owner of InSite Solutions, and creator of Superior Mark, will be personally demonstrating the aisle marking tape's durability. Inside the booth is a simulated concrete floor, with Lowe's patent pending tape adhered. Show attendees are encouraged to exert force against the tape to simulate the abuse that the tape would endure in an industrial setting. The purpose of the simulation is to demonstrate how differences in design can effect the performance of aisle marking tape.
"I've been testing my aisle marking tape for years, and continue to improve the design according to the data I receive from testing. I've conducted several drag tests to assess the durability of Superior Mark against other leading floor marking tapes on the market. My main objective is to share these results with show attendees, so that they can make informed decisions about how they are going to most effectively comply with OSHA's aisle marking regulation," said Lowe.
OSHA requires that the aisles and passageways of industrial facilities be clearly marked, but it does not require any certain method of aisle marking. InSite Solutions is encouraging facility managers to perform their own durability tests to compare all of their options, and also to consider the long term cost of maintenance when they select floor marking products.
