Our company is optimized to provide our clients with the tools they need to succeed in today's connected marketplace.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 15, 2011
Akavit (http://www.akavitdigital.com), a leading digital marketing agency and mobile technology company, moves strongly into mid-2011 with more than twelve new clients, three new hires and the promotion of a key manager to partner.
In the down market of 2009-2010, Akavit grew as an agency by developing a total of 44 digital programs and significantly increasing revenue to more than one million dollars. In 2011, the company has evolved from a technical agency to a strategic digital marketing agency and is driving overall innovation within the industry with plans for at least one company spin-off within the next twelve months.
According to Ad Age’s Agency Report 2011, digital services accounted for an estimated $8.5 billion (28%) of the $30.4 billion in 2010 U.S. revenue generated by the 900-plus advertising and marketing-services agencies that Ad Age analyzed. Digital's share of agency revenue rose from 25.8% in 2009. In dollar terms, agencies' digital revenue jumped 16.9% in 2010.
Digital industry growth is attributable in part to the fact that digital marketing requires a different way of thinking, planning and communicating than traditional marketing. Strategic digital programs drive action, response, and results and foster conversations. Digital programs can also change rapidly and be measured by customer engagement and loyalty.
“Digital marketing is a highly complex domain, and our company is optimized to provide our clients with the tools they need to succeed in today's connected marketplace,” said Rob Davis, CEO and Akavit partner. “Traditional models of executing marketing projects do not translate well to the digital realm and, more often than not, result in deliverables that fail to meet the client’s goals.”
Since 2008, Akavit has developed and implemented effective internet marketing campaigns, user-centered digital designs, high visibility search engine optimization (SEO) programs, mobile and rich internet applications and a host of other interactive and strategic social media programs for clients ranging from start-ups to enterprises.
“As digital marketing has become mainstream, Akavit has morphed from a group of digital tacticians into a team of digital strategists who develop and execute effective digital programs,” continued Davis. “We hire and maintain the best talent in the industry and I am proud to announce and welcome Rob Betts as a business partner.”
Rob Betts has been an interactive producer with Akavit for three years, since nearly the beginning of the company. He is now the Director of Production and joins Akavit founders Rob Davis, Thomas Dahl and Gary Clift as a new company partner. Previous to working at Akavit, Betts worked with such firms as Saatchi & Saatchi, Xylem Interactive and Sterling-Rice Group. His extensive portfolio includes projects with brands such as Einstein Bagels, Noodles and Co, The Denver Broncos, Mix 1, Red Robin, Gorilla Glue, Jack Links, Bernina and GoLite. Betts is certified by the Project Management Institute and earned a BA from CU Denver.
