We firmly believe that improved coordination will lead to better care for individuals, better health for populations, and reductions in care costs over time.

Casenet, LLC, a provider of innovative enterprise level care management systems solutions, announced that it has contracted with Alameda Alliance for Health to implement its TruCare Care Management product suite. The TruCare product contains some 30 sub-systems and components including comprehensive Case Management, Disease Management, and Utilization Management sub-systems. Alameda Alliance for Health (the “Alliance”) is a not-for-profit managed care public agency located in Northern California servicing Medi-Cal and other insured life populations in Alameda County. TruCare will support and enhance the Alliance's overall care management, care coordination and population management services to its membership.

"We are delighted to add the Alliance to our diverse and forward thinking customer base. The Alliance continually seeks innovative ways to better serve its members and has made technology a priority in order to provide a full range of managed care services across its membership." said Kevin Brown, CEO of Casenet.

For many years, the Alliance has been at the forefront of providing quality and cost effective health coverage to Alameda County’s lower income populations. The selection of TruCare will facilitate the Alliance’s ability to provide effective systems support to address the ever-changing nature of health care.

Ingrid Lamirault, CEO of the Alliance, remarked, "Casenet's TruCare solution will greatly enhance the Alliance’s ability to provide efficient, quality service to our members. The product’s security and functionality features will help the Alliance and its providers continue to collaborate to deliver excellent patient care to our members. We firmly believe that improved coordination will lead to better care for individuals, better health for populations, and reductions in care costs over time. “

Brown went on to say, “The Alliance is Casenet’s first Medi-Cal plan and we are encouraged that the TruCare product continues to experience broad market acceptance”.
